ABOUT ME
After graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1989 with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, I worked as a consultant, engineer, director, and programmer at various private companies. In 1991, I became a partner of Diamond Software Services, a company that specializes in developing custom database applications. During that tenure I was invited to work with Diamond InfoTech in Taiwan to localize the Chinese version of Office 95 for the Microsoft Corporation in Taiwan.
I holds a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from Tamkang University, Taiwan and an MBA in MIS from the University of Illinois in Chicago. In 2011, I received a doctoral degree in Adult Higher Education from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. My research focuses on women study in technology, database, data analytics, and Android mobile app development. I have been certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist and a Microsoft Authorized Office Specialist Instructor since the release of Office 97.
In earlier 2014, I was invited to teach at Hanoi National University of Education and Hanoi University of Mining and Geology in Vietnam. Later in 2014, I became a U.S. Fulbright Scholar to teach University of Information Technology in Yangon, Myanmar.
